I was born in Japan,leaving there at age 2 and spent my growing up years in Virgina, Maryland, and Northwest Ohio. I also spent thirteen years in Florida before moving to Idaho where I spent eleven years. I recently moved to Illinois, just south of Chicago. I have been an artist for  over 25 years, having experience in acrylic painting, pencil, ink drawing and watercolor but have been painting in watercolors exclusively since 2002.

I have been inspired by the landscapes around me in the various places I have lived. Providing  subject matter from the landscape, wildlife and floral life. I like to paint in a realistic way and I try to capture the essence and beauty of each subject matter.
